I am an Italian and like almost all Italians, I am passionate about my family, my work and patients, and olive oil. And just to be correct right from the start, I am passionate about the health-giving properties of extra-virgin olive oil of the highest quality.

After years of research I realized how little accurate information there was freely and easily available regarding extra-virgin olive oil of the highest quality. I knew then, I had no option but to write this book.  Consuming inferior olive oil is at best of no use and could be detrimental to the body’s health and at worst, downright harmful.
